Outside, the secure garden is perfect. The kids can play, the dog’s safe, and we can properly switch off. Coming back from the beach straight into the garden without going through the house is one of those small things that just makes life easier.

And the location makes everything simple. Eclectic Northdown Road is on the doorstep for those so inclined. The sandy beach, rock pools and lido is just a short walk away, so no one gets left behind. We can wander into Margate Old Town when we want a bit of energy, or head the other way for quieter spots and space to breathe.
